Project Management Notion templates

Kanban boards, sprint planning, and team project trackers.

Project management templates are where Notion's database-as-multiple-views model earns its keep most obviously: the same set of tasks needs to be a kanban board for daily work, a timeline for stakeholders checking overall progress, and a table for anyone who wants to filter and sort by owner or priority. Rebuilding that from scratch means setting up properties, views, and filters correctly the first time — get the property types wrong early and every view built on top inherits the problem.

The templates here cover a range of methodologies: lightweight kanban project trackers for small teams that don't need formal process, sprint planning boards with story points and sprint relations for teams running something closer to Scrum, and program-level trackers for coordinating multiple projects with shared resources and dependencies. Each is templated with example tasks and views already configured, so importing your real backlog is a matter of replacing sample rows, not rebuilding the database schema.

These are built for small to mid-sized teams — a startup, a small agency, an internal team running its own projects — not for organizations that need portfolio-level reporting across dozens of teams or strict permission boundaries between them, which is a genuinely different (and heavier) tool category. If your team is currently coordinating projects over Slack threads and a shared doc, or has outgrown a plain task list, these templates are meant to get a real system running in an afternoon rather than a quarter-long tooling migration.
